Mục Lục

The group that attacked USJ yesterday was identified as the "League of Villains" and Shigaraki Tomura, with the decay quirk, was their leader. After All Might defeated the Nomu, Kurogiri, the Warp Gate, collected most of the high ticket villains and got them out of USJ and back to wherever they were hiding. The police collected the Nomu and it is now locked away in the high-security prison, Tartarus.

Pro hero Kage had not left the side of Pro Hero Eraser Head for the 22 hours he had been receiving treatment. Mikami knew she shouldn't show this much concern over her colleague, but she couldn't help it. she had never seen him as broken as he was at USJ. Mikami thought back to when the villains first appeared, she had grabbed Aizawa's hand out of fear. He was a comforting presence to her, and it was more than disturbing to see him in such a catastrophic state after the attack. Now as she sat by his bed where he lay still unconscious, she held his hand.

His hand was rough and calloused, but that was to be expected of the pro hero who spent much of his time fighting. Mikami would be embarrassed if he had woken up to her holding his hand, and that's why Aizawa didn't open his eyes when he regained consciousness. besides, her soft hands felt nice and warm on his own, and he didn't particularly want to let go. Aizawa fought the urge to hum contently as she began to run her fingers across his bruised knuckles. If this was intimacy with Mikami, he could learn to appreciate it.

After what felt like hours, but was really only minutes, Recovery Girl entered the room yet again, and Mikami quickly released Aizawa's hand, but judging by the knowing look Recovery Girl gave the hero, she had seen and known the implications behind such an action.

"well, classes start soon, I should go take over 1-A for Aizawa," Mikami explained to Recovery Girl, giving herself an excuse to leave the room. It was true that while Aizawa was healing Mikami was responsible for his class, but she still had a fair amount of time before classes started today. Mikami made her way to the first-floor teacher's offices and sat at her desk. It was odd to be across from Aizawa's empty desk without him being in the room. The pair wouldn't acknowledge it, but they did spend the majority of their time at school together, and Aizawa was usually in the offices when Mikami was. She didn't think she had been in there alone since before Aizawa accepted the job at UA.

Shaking the thought from her head, Mikami finished up the paperwork she was working on for the general studies students and headed to the 1A classroom to prepare for the hero course students that she would have to teach today.

Entering the classroom that Aizawa taught in and seeing all of his stuff on his desk struck a chord with Keiko Mikami. What if he had died? She thought to herself. Would it have really mattered? He was just a coworker. She attempted to tell herself, but she knew the statement wasn't true. Deep down, Mikami cared about Aizawa, but she just couldn't bring herself to tell him that.

She sighed and sat down at her friend's desk, clearing some of his stuff out of the way to prepare for today's lesson. It wasn't too long before the students of 1A started pouring into the classroom, taking their seats. They were solemn today as they saw Kage at the front of the classroom instead of Aizawa-sensei. Izuku Midoriya couldn't get the image of Aizawa-sensei's head being slammed into the pavement by that Nomu creature. There was so much blood.

Mikami cleared her throat and stood up from the desk after the bell rang, although the students were already quiet, so there was really no point.

"So UA has a traditional Sports Festival-" Mikami was cut off by the door swinging open and a heavily bandaged Aizawa shuffling through the doorway.

"morning." He muttered attempting to make his way to his desk.

"He's back too soon!" Multiple students exclaimed all at once.

As Aizawa continued to slowly shuffle to his desk he grew frustrated when Mikami blocked his path.

"I know that Recovery Girl did not release you," Mikami told him firmly. Aizawa refused to make eye contact with the short woman that was angrily staring up at him. He knew that if she looked into her bright green eyes he would agree with whatever she was saying, and he needed to be here right now with his students to prepare for the sports festival. Mikami placed a firm hand on his chest, and he finally looked at her through the bandages around his head. "I would love to speak to you in the hallway." She told him, her voice low and dangerous. Aizawa could see the anger in her eyes now, and he wished he hadn't. He nodded once, much to the surprise of his students, who didn't expect him to give in to the woman so easily.

Aizawa-sensei didn't seem like one to be told what to do, but maybe Mikami had a different relationship with him than most people did, Midoriya thought as Aizawa shuffled back out of the classroom, closely followed by Mikami.

"what are you doing?!" Mikami exclaimed as soon as the classroom door shut behind her. She was giving Aizawa a cold glare that he didn't receive very often from her.

"I'm teaching my class," He responded dryly, rolling his eyes at the woman looking up at him with her eyebrows furrowed.

"Aizawa this isn't a joke! You almost-" Mikami's voice sounded strangled, and Aizawa realized it was because she had started to cry, which was evident by the tears in her eyes. She angrily wiped her eyes, turning away from the man that looked at her with confusion over the few tears in her eyes. Mikami couldn't believe she had just started crying over her colleague, and her anger quickly turned to embarrassment. She was still facing away from Aizawa, so he couldn't see her cheeks turn pink as she realized what had just happened.

Aizawa was shocked that Mikami felt this strongly about him, that she had worried so much. With his slightly less injured arm, he reached out and put his hand on her shoulder in an attempt to be comforting.

"I'm not dead." He told her, giving her shoulder a light squeeze before releasing her. "But I'll go rest if that'll make you feel better," he mumbled that last part quietly, so quietly Mikami almost didn't hear him, but she had, so she nodded, wiping the last of her tears away, and only turning around once she had heard him start to shuffle away. When he was down the hallways Mikami took a deep breath and re-entered the classroom.

"where's Aizawa-sensei?" Uraraka asked when only Mikami entered the classroom.

"we agreed that his injuries were extensive and he needed the day to recuperate," Mikami explained, keeping her voice level in order to keep the students from seeing her emotions. "The UA Sports Festival is quickly approaching, and you're all unprepared. Let's get to work."
